Auditing system permissions

- Select Page types from the System drop-down, to display the list of page types.
- Include Permissions - Approve, Permissions - Edit, and Permissions - View in the displayed columns. (See for how to select listing columns).

To check what a menu looks like for a user
Method 1:
- Display the menu of interest:
- Select Menus from the Action drop down.
- Select the menu from the listing.
- Expand the User view section.
- Select the user. The menu will be displayed as that user will see it (ie, hiding any pages for which the user does not have view permission).
Method 2:
- Display the user profile.
- Select the User groups tab. This displays a list of the user groups that include the user.
- Click the Display menu for this user button. The menu will refresh to display all pages visible to the user. You can check each menu to see how the menu will appear to the user. Browse to any other page to revert to your normal menu. Note: this function is available only to system managers.
To check which users can see a page
- Display the page.
- Select Properties from the Content drop-down.
- Select the Permissions tab. The display shows the user groups with permission to view, edit, and approve the page, and the users belonging to each of those groups.
